Tegucigalpa´s best kept secret, you will fall in love with this argentinian decorated coffeshop. It has the best music, a lovely patio setting and fantastic food.Their decor sets them apart from the bland coffeshops in the city, and offers a more personal , cozy place to go with a good friend or your better half. The music ranges from south american to bossa to jazz and lounge. The menu offers empanadas, salads, pastas, sandwiches, and a variety of drinks.Ask about special events, the place is known to host local talent in music, poetry and art.A personal favorite, I recommend La Milonga for those looking for a less comercial, more cultural and warm place to be with someone worthwhile. Price range Lps50-150
Recommended Dishes
The argentinian empanadas and the quiche lorraine.

The newly relocated restaurant is one of the top picks for ambience and decor, the first floor with intricately set tables, and the second floor displays a fully stocked a bar and lounge resembling style. The best tapas are here, and its also a trendy place to go for drinks .Their calendar of daily specials also sets them apart, like thursday tastings menu, and tuesday tapas happy hour. The place is great for dates, special ocasions a night out with friends. The service is regular , although the owner can usually be found for extra help.
Price range120-400

Recommended Dishes
Thursday´s tasting menu is definitely the best , includes appetizers, entree and dessert. As for the tapas, the gratinado de alcachofas and the hongos al jerez.

The casual yet refined cafe serves mostly lunch style meals, soups, salads, sandwiches and appetizers, yet all crafted with utmost care and quality ingredients. The dishes range from the classic to fusions of latin-european , mostly due to their own in-restaurant gourmet shop. Their stock includes well chosen wines, imported cheeses you wont find elsewhere in town, and a variety of international dry goods. The versatility of the place is its greatest strength, as you can lunch at 1pm on a salad and pasta, shop for some cheeses, have coffee and cheescake at 4 and come back for some glasses of wine and appetizers in the evening. The tables are a bit close together, you might want to be seated outside .The service is nothing but regular, and can take a while to bring you the check,.if you´re in a hurry you might want to get up and pay at the cashier.Price range 60-280.

Recommended dishes:

The international appetizers are always great and served quickly, try the crab cakes, the sandwiches are a great pick, hot or cold, and are served with homemade chips.

Review:
Customer favorites and semi gourmet dishes at very affordable prices. The restuarant offers an ample menu, well presented and well prepared meals, although their sandwiches are their weak spot. The salads are definitely the best in town, and boast with the freshest ingedients ,adaptable to the customers tastes and preferences. The service is probably the nicest and most attentive in the city, although can become rather slow when the place is crowded. The decor reminds you of diners and fast food chains , and at lunch time the restaurant can become very loud. The crowd is young, mostly women and definitely an it place .

Recommended Dishes:
Escargot, Sopa de Tortilla,Any salad, Breakfast Dishes, Thai lettuce wraps.
